Church Health Assessment

How do we know if our churches are healthy? Is attendance at your church stagnant or declining while the church down the road is striving? Does your church seem to become stale and drift while other churches seem to be growing and alive?

 

Would you like to see your church have a greater impact on the local community and touch more lives? Church health is absolutely necessary for church growth—it is a natural function for all living organisms. Church growth should be a result of church health. Since the church is a living organism, it is natural and expected that it will grow if it is healthy.

 

The Church is a body, not a business—an organism, not an organization. It should be alive. If a church is not growing, it is dying. A healthy church occurs when the message is biblical and the mission is balanced.
