Phillips and Jethro, LLC is a church leadership consulting firm. A. LaPinsky Phillips, the founder of the organization and Jethro (Priest of Midian) provided the foundation for successful leadership for all organizations through his instructions in Exodus 18 of the Bible.  Phillips provides the relevant application of that foundation to today’s churches, non-profits and for-profits.

 

 

Phillips has worked primarily in the non-profit and faith arenas for the past twenty years and has seventeen years of corporate management experience. He has served in his current position as Executive Director for a Faith-based Community Development Corporation (CDC) since 1999 and as Church Administrator since 1993. 

 

 

Phillips is a member of the Board of Directors of The National Association of Church Business Administration and is a longstanding member and a Certified Church Administration (CCA).  He has received his certification as a Certified Christian Conciliator from the Institute of Christian Conciliation in Billings Montana. Additionally, he is an adjunct instructor and workshop presenter for Peacemaker Ministries. He serves as a consultant in the area of Church Growth and received his training from Church Central Associates (Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Louisville, KY). He received his undergraduate degree from the Union Institute in Cincinnati, Ohio.
